Being the starting point or end of our Li River hiking routes, Xianei Village is a tranquil tiny village located in a basin on the west bank of the Li River. When you get there, some very old adobe houses with some brand-new houses stood aside appear in your eyes first. Rice paddies, mandarin orange orchards and bamboo forests lie around it. All the villagers here are farmers or fishermen who go to work in the fields or rivers in the morning and return home at dusk. There is an ancient stone trail connecting the village to the Li River. Along this trail, florae, domestic animals such as cows and goats and pretty limestone rocks and enjoyed all the way.
