Our sales representative Chantel was extremely responsive and helped us find exactly the kind of tour we wanted. We went off a general itinerary from one hiking tour and were able to tweak it according to what we wanted to see.
The tour we settled on was hiking from Ping’an to Dazhai. Peter was a tour guide and he was AMAZING! He knew the best places to stop for beautiful views. He made sure we had water at all times and anything else we needed. It rained in the middle, but it didn’t dampen the mood at all. Most of all, he was full of information about the region and China in general. We crossed a few tourists on the trail we hiked, but for the most part had the trail to ourselves. It was truly majestic being in the rice terraces. Peter made sure we found the perfect spot for lunch. The driver as well made us feel safe through those windy roads. The private tour was well worth the price!
