During my 19 years’ introducing and guiding visitors to experience Guilin and its beautiful surroundings and landscapes, I myself get enchanted and even spellbound by the beauty and majesty!
However, to my dismay, there are so many visitors yearning to stay longer and learn more about this uniquely gorgeous, magnificent and culturally diversified area. They would go as far as possible to avoid the crowds and hustle and bustle. They would meet and interact with local people and learn about their life, and they would go off the beaten track.
Thanks to all the kind suggestions from my previous clients, I decided to build a site called HikeGuilin.com, to organize people to hike, explore and tour Guilin and the surrounding areas. Something really deserves to brag about is that Hike Guilin is now a filiale of China Expedition Tours, one of the leading online private China tour operators.
As you know, hiking can lead you to appreciate Guilin’s charm from a different perspective. Hiking can slow down your travel pace, which enables you to immerse yourself in local life and nature, and hiking can also build you up and refresh you both physically and mentally.
We’ve researched extensively about the different hiking routes in the Guilin area so we can provide a unique and awesome experience. Based on previous suggestions and comments from past clients, we are encouraged and confident in continual improvement to make the experience exceptional and exceeding expectations!
We’ve always advocate “Responsible Travel” ever since. We pay great attention to the local environment. We employ local tour guides, use local accommodations for lodging and local restaurants for dining on delicious local cuisine. We try our best to minimize the impact to the local communities where we hike and explore.
I really appreciate what St. Augustine said about travel, “the world is a book and those who do not travel read only one page.” We are inspired! Hike with us in Guilin and you will definitely agree…it is a rewarding experience and life-enhancing trip you will appreciate many years afterwards!
“Guilin is a brilliant chapter of this book, it deserves your intensive, comprehensive and careful study, which is what we do….hiking and exploring in Guilin.”
