Hike Guilin pays great attention to the safety and spare no effort to ensure your hiking experience with us safe and sound.
First of all, all the drivers working for Hike Guilin and China Expedition Tours have a driving experience of at least 10 years. Besides the official driving license, they all have a special “Permit of Tourist Driver”, which makes them more strictly chosen from others. All the vehicles they drive are bought comprehensive insurance against all risks for. They take good care of the vehicles they drive and check them every day regularly. We have zero tolerance on driving tiredly or making/answering a call while driving! They are very familiar with all different types of roads around Guilin, Yangshuo and Longsheng areas, and they know clearly that drive safely is inferior to nothing.
All our guides have been trained on First Aid and have a strong sense of safety when work. A First Aid Kit is brought by our guide all the way along while hiking. For wild and rough hike, boots, long pants with elastic bottoms and even knee pads are suggested, which will be informed to you by your travel consultant in advance. We prepare trekking poles in our car or van for your necessary use.
More importantly, at all times the decision of the Hike Guilin tour guide or your travel consultant will be final on all matters likely to affect the safety of our hiking tour. Please at all times strictly comply with the laws, customs, local community regulations of all places visited. To carry out the tour safely, please understand some actions, such as change of the hiking route, visiting time order, driving route, tour date, etc., will be taken when necessary.
